Erna Nette Ngoma hails from Zimbabwe. She grew up in a community and a culture where girl children are always denied opportunities to explore their potentials. However, against all odds, Erna studied Sports Psychology at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, she also has a degree, in Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette obtained online. She has always wanted to serve as a role model among other girls from her under privileged community and to challenge the cultural norms that deprive a girl child to shape their own destinies.

In 2018 she made her first trip to Ghana for a UN World Youth Summit where she fell in love with African Prints. Her vision of being a role model grew stronger and she registered her online company, Erna's Boutique at the age of nineteen. To date the online boutique has matured into Social enterprise that provides quality African materials, designs, handmade with love and pride . The enterprise supports female tailors and designers in her community.
